Complex product configurations
Custom logic, dynamic pricing or multiple options.
Marketplace or multi-vendor models
Multiple sellers and custom workflows.
Deep system integrations
Connections to CRM, payment, inventory or bespoke operational systems.
The right platform depends on your requirements, cost, internal capabilities and ongoing ownership.

Questions
MedusaJS: frequently asked questions.
Is Pulsehub an official Medusa expert?
Yes. Pulsehub are official Medusa experts, building complex commerce platforms on MedusaJS and staying involved after launch.
What is MedusaJS?
MedusaJS is an open-source, headless commerce engine built for flexibility. It gives you control over the storefront, the commerce implementation and how your platform connects to the systems your business relies on.
Why choose Medusa instead of Shopify?
Shopify and other platforms are great for many brands, but there are times when a bespoke architecture is the right choice. MedusaJS is ideal when you need more control, flexibility or complex functionality. The right platform depends on your requirements, cost, internal capabilities and ongoing ownership.
When is Medusa the right choice?
When you have complex product configurations, custom logic or dynamic pricing, marketplace or multi-vendor models, or connections to CRM, payment, inventory or bespoke operational systems.
Can an existing store move to Medusa?
Yes. Pulsehub migrated By The Namesake, a luxury leather brand, from Shopify to MedusaJS, and replatformed an international designer marketplace from PHP to Medusa. Read more about Medusa replatforming.
Does Pulsehub stay involved after launch?
Yes. Pulsehub works as a long-term technology partner, involved after launch to help you evolve and operate your platform.
Is SEO migration included when you replatform?
Yes. SEO migration was part of the scope for both By The Namesake (Shopify to MedusaJS) and Curated Crowd (PHP to MedusaJS). The aim is to preserve a site’s existing organic visibility and search signals through the move. Search results can’t be guaranteed, so SEO is planned as part of the migration, not treated as an afterthought.
